A little about me: I was born and raised in Oklahoma, with a brief early childhood stay in Alaska. My father has been a State Farm agent since 1993, and his commitment to service inspired in me a strong work ethic and a deep passion for helping others. Growing up in McAlester, I cherish memories of colorful fall hikes at Robbers Cave, crisp days at Lake Eufaula, and performing in the high school marching band—including playing the Tin Man in our fall production of The Wizard of Oz.

Both my brother and I earned the rank of Eagle Scout, instilling in me the values of preparation and perseverance. I carried these lessons to Oklahoma Christian University, where I earned a finance degree in 2008. With years of experience in finance, combined with my background as a claims adjuster and professional designations like ChFC and CPCU, I’ve built my career on helping others protect what’s most important to them.

Since becoming a State Farm agent in 2021, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team, all united by a shared passion for empowering our community and helping you navigate life’s uncertainties with confidence.

Outside of work, I enjoy fall adventures with my wife, Lori, and our son, Willis. Whether spending time with family, volunteering for Ducks Unlimited, or staying active in our church, this season is about making meaningful connections and embracing the beauty of change.

This Spring, let us partner with you to safeguard what you’ve worked so hard to achieve and build a brighter future. Whether you have questions about your insurance or just want to stop by and say hello, we’d love to hear from you. Visit us at the office or give us a call—we’re excited to help you start the season on the right foot!

5 Insurance FAQs

What does an insurance agent do? An insurance agent helps individuals and businesses choose insurance policies that meet their needs. They provide information, answer questions, assist with applications, and support customers through the claims process.

How does a local agent add value compared to online insurance options? Unlike automated online platforms, a local agent provides customized guidance, answers your specific questions, helps you navigate complex policies, and advocates on your behalf during claims or policy changes, ensuring you get coverage for your situation.

How do I choose the right insurance agent? Look for an agent who is knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy. It helps to check reviews, ask for recommendations, and ensure they are licensed to operate in your state.

How often should I review my insurance policies with my agent? It’s a good idea to review your insurance policies with your agent at least once a year or whenever you experience significant life changes, such as buying a home, getting married, or starting a business, to ensure your coverage still meets your needs.

Can an insurance agent help me save money on my insurance? Yes, an insurance agent can help identify discounts, adjust coverage options, and recommend bundling policies to help you save money on your insurance.
